The Haven supports MS Awareness Week

Help The Haven raise awareness of MS Awareness Week to highlight the reality of what it’s like for those living with the illness.

For more than twenty years, The Haven has supported lots of families who are affected by MS. Our team knows how much of an impact the illness can have on the quality of life for, not only the individual living with the illness, but also their family members and loved ones too.

We want to let those affected by MS know there is help and support available so we can face the future together.

Haven Nurse, Alison Gilmour, said: “Our Nurses, Co-ordinators and Wellbeing Practioner offer a range of holistic, emotional and practical support services to adults and children affected by MS - including their family members.

The services we provide to our clients affected by MS can be easily tailored to suit you and your families’ individual needs during pre and post-diagnosis - including bereavement support.

“We are so passionate about the services we deliver to people with MS and other life-limiting illnesses to our local communities who need our help most. The clients who are living with MS have told us they’ve greatly benefited from accessing our support sessions”.

If you or a family member are affected by MS and would like to find out more about the support that is available from The Haven, please visit www.thehavencentre.com, email: info@thehavencentre.com, or call: 01555 811846.
