Who are we

The Haven is a Lanarkshire based charity which supports approximately 550 individual people from across all localities for North and South Lanarkshire each year. We provides practical and emotional support to individuals, families, children, young people and carers across Lanarkshire affected by life-limiting illnesses or bereavement.

Since 2002 we have been supporting local people in Lanarkshire and surrounding areas to help them deal with the challenges experiences as a result of living with illness, caring for a loved one and/or the death of a loved one.

Our specialist team comprising of Specialist Nurses, our Child & Family Co-ordinator and Wellbeing Practitioners provide practical and inspiring one-to-one and group based support, resources and information to help you throughout every stage of illness: from diagnosis, during and after treatment; during palliative care and at end of life - including bereavement support for families.
